Sweet and Simple

The items are sweet and simple, the blog post is short and sweet...
(as well as one more shameless and self indulgent plug!)

Pincushion Pillows

Mini Patchwork Quilt

With very simple piecing and the help of some good 'ol solids, the patchwork mini quilt and the 3 pincushion pillows were all easily made using just 1 fat quarter of my Posie Party fabric. All the stitched items shown are also available in my BooDilly's shop!

And speaking of sweet, (and self indulgent!) enjoy your Trick or Treating! (Hopefully it's all treats and no tricks!)
Wishing everyone a very Happy Halloween!

These are gorgeous Vic! It's great to see some of your creations using your very own fabric designs! I agree with Blue Is Bleu about how bright and cheery they are!

Happy halloween to you! I think I've mentioned before how halloween isn't really celebrated in this country. So if somebody came trick or treating on my door I'd get a big fright as it's never happened before! I do wish we got into the halloween spirit over here as it sounds like so much fun!

It must be so satisfying....designing your own fabric, and then making exactly what you want...

Well done!

Your fabric designs are just wonderful, Victoria. What fantastic colors -- I think the touches of black make them so appealing and crisp. You must be so excited with what you've produced!

You are so clever. This looks very effective. Wish I had time to learn how to sew.

Vic,
I think your goal for 2009, explore more and simplify are succeed.
Look at what you had created ... lovely things with your own beautiful fabrics. I love 'Less is more', what about you? :)

So glad I bought the last fat quarter of Blue Bells!

What sweet little pin cushions! We had a lovely and fun Halloween with lots and lots of goblins coming to our door. I hope you enjoyed your night, too!

I was brought here by the Fabric Shopper and I fell in love with you. I think what made it was that to avoid burnout, you've turned to fabric designing. For me, I am hand painting threads while quilting away. Glad that I have found you.
