Friends
"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive...
and it is only by this meeting...
that a new world is born." - Anais Nin
I made these two little dolls out of plain muslin, of which I am growing increasingly fond of for it's simplicity. The details were drawn with Pigma pens and then painted with Japanese fabric paints. These are part of my own personal collection, but I am thinking about doing more for the shop. They make me smile each time I pass by.

You must make more, as they are delightful.
Oooh how sweet! Looks like they are playing hide & seek around the pot plant. I adore how their little eyes are looking at each other! Good on you for making some lovely things to keep for yourself! You deserve a treat! But hey, you should certainly make some for your shop too. I smile at my 'Sam the Dog' everytime I walk past him. It totally freaks him out. He thinks that I'm up to no good...like I'm raiding his cookie jar or something ;D
They are gorgeous and have great personalities. It looks like they’re flirting!
You should indeed keep them to yourself and make more for the shop! A
I love the Nin quote!
Please, tell us more about the Japanese fabric paints. I love paints!

Very cute! They are definitely eyeing one another, oh no are they more than friends???
I am continually amazed at the amount of personality you manage to put into each of your dolls' faces...
