Cinderella

I promise, this is the last post I will do about the pre-inaugural gala eldest daughter attended. Unfortunately most of the picture they took of the gala, didn't turn out too hot. I don't wish to bore you with blurry pictures of people you don't know. However I do want to share the picture above, of my daughter getting ready for the festivities. Beautiful, isn't she? (And she's as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside.)

And here's proof that they indeed were invited, along with proof of their identity! (Can you imagine the security that had to surround such a gig!?!)

Well, that's it. Thanks for indulging the pround Mama in me!

I've decided to take a long weekend, so I will be back on Monday with a new post, hopefully stitch related!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Your daughter looks just like you-how pretty you both are! Have a great weekend...I'm in a bit of a rush to get started on mine this week as well.

It is so funny... People always tell us how very much we look alike, as in really, truly alike. We hear it everywhere we go. And yet neither one of us sees it! Not one bit. We both think that we look slightly related, but that's about it. It totally perplexes us how people think we look so much alike! (Of course, I being much older then she, takes it as a HUGE compliment... not so sure daughter feels the same way, though!)

No apologies necessary for posting about one of the most hopeful, exciting times our country has experienced in a long, long time! How fabulous that your daughter was able to attend such a gala -- we were all there in spirit!

Oh Victoria, how exciting! And you and your daughter could pass for twins. You're both beautiful. I've so missed you and your wonderful talent. Enjoy your long weekend my friend. xo

This has been very fun to get this inside look! Don't worry about boring us. Your daughter is beautiful. I could have written what you said above... my daughter and I have always been told we look exactly alike. We never saw it, either. But now that I'm in my mid 50s I guess the difference is becoming obvious. One of us is wrinkly and old and one isn't!

Your daughter is very beautiful and I've been enjoying these gala posts. Well, I hope the equally beautiful proud mama enjoys her long weekend! I'll be enjoying a long weekend also. It's an official one over here, with Monday being a public holiday. Yay! Happy stitching :)
