Hi V
ReplyDeleteI have purchased your first choice, it's a stunning book, highly recommended. As for the rest, they all look extremely tasty!
There are way to many to name!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the Charley Harper. I have a calendar and coloring book. I want the children's book and the "coffee table" book too. I'm eyeing prints I want for my room too.
ReplyDeletei want the charle harper one. I only see it on internet :S, so i want have in my hands! and to many more!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not currently coveting any new books. Rather, I would like the time to read some of the ones I already have.
ReplyDelete"A Pattern Language"
"The Flying Troutmans"
"My Life in France"
"100 Mile Diet"
... and many more, but those are on the top of the pile.
Certainly the Charlie Harper--but it is oh so pricey (rightly so--my husband's a print maker and it all takes so much time!). Lately I would love the Kazashi in Bloom book by Diane Gilleland. Lovely things to try!
ReplyDeleteoh my, the top two are on my constantly growing book list. I havent seen the other ones, now I am off to explore they look really interesting esp the Japanese Children's Fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI've been lusting after the Charley Harper book for way too long!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I do like your taste in books! At the moment I'd like the new Amanda Soule book and Amy Karol's. Oh and any Japanese craft book I can get my grubby mitts on!!
ReplyDeleteI had to explain to my designer friend with children that other people beside parents have heard of Charley Harper. Currently I'm obsessed with the illustrator Mary Blair who worked for Disney in the 40s and 50s and designed the 'It's A Small World' ride in the 60s.
ReplyDeleteWOW, these all look amazing; now I'm going to have a much longer wish list of my own!
ReplyDeleteHave you been peeking at my lists? (kidding- really, I'm just going to steal yours because it looks quite complete). My friend Heather/Skinny laMinx is featured in this Naive book and she posted about it today, too- coincidence? I love the connecting of dots.
ReplyDeleteI like your taste in books! Everytime I walk into a book store I find a gazillion more books that I want! It's endless! I'm really intrigued by the Grandfather's Envelopes book! It's gorgeous and I WANT that one right now!!! Thanks for sharing such an awesome list :)
ReplyDeletei'm not currently coveting books. just money. ugh!
ReplyDeleteThe third one looks interesting. I really like Japanese art.
ReplyDeleteI just love that Boro cover!
ReplyDeleteI have BORO and it's truly stunning. The envelope book looks very interesting, I'm off to have a look on amazon!!
ReplyDeletewhen does your little girl leave you?
Boro and Grandfather's envelopes lokk amazing, never heard of them here in France. must research. As for the book list, I'll have to think.
