Rebirth

While taking down cloths off the wash line yesterday, I realized a whole world was struggling to be reborn around me...

    Oh my!! Cicadas are awesome! I've never seen one emerge from its cocoon... that's so amazing :)

    Unbelievably beautiful!!
    I understood from some research on the net that for a Cicada it takes two hours to be reborn? Amazing!

    Oh, my. I have seen the cicada shells but never have seen one emerging. We do not have them here but they are so cool. Thanks for sharing. I hope you are doing well.

    wow those are great photos. I don't think i've ever seen one in transformation, I always just find the shells (I guess that's what you call them)

    So thats a cicada? I used to have an origami book with the pattern for one but I had never seen a real one. Thank you.
