Finally!

I am finally getting some time to start some new work! This is the first in a new series of contemporary table runners/wall hangings. My original plan was to just do table runners, but then I thought "why not sew a hanging sleeve on the back, so they can also double as wall hangings?" So I did. Easy!

Please forgive this not so great photograph! It has been overcast and rainy all day. Once I can get some decent photos, I will post this baby in my shop, and hopefully will follow up with some more very soon!

  1. Isn't is so very heart breaking when you have a piece of artwork that you really want to take a photo of but the weather just won't co-operate? Natural light is always the best.

  2. I was just wondering the other day when you'd be sharing some more of your beautiful work! It's been a while! But well worth the wait! It's a gorgeous piece & I love the idea of it being a table runner/wall hanging combo! How clever! Once again, I adore the colours. The colours you create with are always so yummy looking. If that makes sense? Whenever I look at your work I have chocolate, strawberries & gelati icecream swirling around in my head. Perhaps I'm simply food obsessed... :)

  4. The design of this one reminds me a bit of the Arts and Craft's movement, which I love.

  8. That is beautiful, love the colors. So creative (and practical) to give it two uses also.
