Sneek Peeks

The newest issues of Somerset Studio's "Gallery" and "Sew Somerset" come out today, and I am super delighted to be included in both of these beautiful publications. For those of you who are only familiar with my current embroidered art quilts, you get to see another side of me, which would be my love of vintage materials and ephemera.



The Sew Somerset issue features my article on how I make my Vintage Bling Brooches, (pages 8 to 10).

    I was so happy to *see you* in two of my favorite magazines when I picked them up at the local bookstore.
    It is delightful to see the other beautiful things you create!

    Congratulations on both those features! I'm going to look for those publications in Borders. I'm guessing Borders stock them? Just wondering if your art book "Good Morning" is available for purchase? & if so, where from?Sorry if you posted about this previously & I missed it. I'm keen on purchasing a copy!

    Thanks folks, and yes, Harriet you should be able to purchase both of the magazines at Borders, (I know that I can at mine.) Barnes and Noble also carries them, and I can find them usually at Michaels Craft stores and A.C.Moore, plus they can be ordered off of the Somerset Studio web site.

    As for the book, I am not sure if I will be selling it, as I usually keep the art books that I have made over the years, but I sure appreciate your interest!

    I will be posting the brooches back in my shop once I get them back from their little trip to the west coast, ( I personally haven't been to California since I was 16... my artwork leads a much more exciting life then I do!)
