Your photos are wonderful. My part of the world is so different to yours but there is beauty all around at all times of the year.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Northern Wisconsin, and I'm actually sorry for you! We're having a normal winter, a ton of snow, but nobody's losing power, and we're not getting the ice storms.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably going to regret saying that, come March.
But I'm wondering if the barn picture will be a runner some day.
Your pictures are breathtaking! You made winter seem beautiful and bearable through the lens of your camera. Thanks for sharing with us -- it makes me dread tomorrow's snowstorm a little less.

Great photos...glad you were able to get out for a while.
ReplyDeleteJust started snowing here and everything is already white...expecting 12+....ughers!:)
Stay warm!
Beautiful! We are iced in here in coastal NC, hopefully it will melt tomorrow.......last time it took 4 days before we could get out and drive again.

Beautiful photos of a snowy landscape that I don't experience here in Melbourne, Australia. We are going thru a very hot & dry Summer, with recent days ranging from 38c - 42c. Our gardens and the countryside are suffering from lack of rain, but as you say there is beauty to be found in every season.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great and really show the loveliness all around. There is beauty in every one of them.
ReplyDeleteHere in England we have rain, rain, rain. Pretty much all day every day ... since September.
We were lucky here in northeast Ohio - we did not get any of the freezing rain and snow the hit the south and east coast. We have had snow on the ground for the last 7 weeks. This past weekend we got 3 more inches to add to the 12+ we have had this winter. It had been very cold but today it is suppose to get up to 36 degrees and the sun shinning. I keep hearing ice falling off the double wide trailer my office is in. Take care, stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeletehere around Boston we are being hammered by winter, too! I agree about the immediacy and roughness of the images... I think they add, rather than detract to the feel... very nice ones, here.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Similar sights of beauty here in Chicago, if one is willing to brave the cold and look for them. Makes me want to brush off my old SLR camera and get out there again! Cheers, and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh man - the homestead picture is stunning! We've had so much snow here in the Northeast but I haven't found a scene as beautiful (and mysterious) as this. Thanks and take care, Byrd
