ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics! What is it about blue that is just so heart-warming?
ReplyDeleteAwww, you're making me blush! I'm so glad you like them, and what gorgeous pictures you took!
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful! Lucky you! I took a green indigo dyeing class last year and loved every second of it. Can't wait to see what you do with these.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky:) Yesterday I was wandering what fabric you use - new or recycled. Thinking to write an e-mail, but decided not to bored you with such silly questions:)
ReplyDeleteFabulous colours!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing what you do with them!
Rumi, not a silly question at all!
ReplyDeleteI use an array of fabrics, both old and new, and I seem to go through periods where I tend to use one more then the other. I adore prints, but in my work I tend to gravitate towards solids and woven fabrics. (I really like being able to easily see the weave and the grain of a fabric). I am particularly fond of shot cottons, ticking, ikats, madras, plaids, strips, japanese fabrics, linen blends, muslins in various weights, tea-dyed and hand-dyed fabrics. I fluctuate between colorful pallets and more subdued pallets which seem to be influenced greatly by the season and my mood!
Beautiful blue fabric. waiting to see what you are going to make with this lovely fabric
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteSo lucky! I love Candy's fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSaludos desde Caracas-Venezuela, me enanta tu blog, es muy especial e inspirado. Tuve suerte de encontrarte, gracias por permitirme ver tu trabajo.
ReplyDeleteYummy blues! I know you will make something fabulous out of them!
ReplyDeleteSwoon!! x
ReplyDeleteYes, they are gorgeous. I, too, have taken Candy's online class in controlling texture and it was well worth the fee. I have dyed fabric for years but picked up some wonderful tips from Candy. I highly recommend the class, and she has a special going on now, too.
