ReplyDeleteOh, boy! I've never had back problems so I can only imagine what you're going through! It seems it takes a lot of time for a back to heal. I hope you're up and about and back to normal soon!
ReplyDeleteI empathize, my hubs has had a lot of back pain. Take care or yourself.
ReplyDeleteSame here! Are we, machine sewers, doomed to have poor backs?
ReplyDeleteOh, Victoria! You're in my thoughts today -- wishing you a very speedy recovery. Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI can sympathize. I have ongoing issues from a car accident. I can recommend heat, ice, massage, chiropractic, pain meds, and sitting in comfortable chairs, and not all at the same time. the good news is it will get better. the bad news is it takes time.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your back gets better very soon as I so enjoy looking at your work.

Yuck - that sounds miserable! I hope you're feeling much better very soon.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon Victoria
ReplyDeleteI had a messed up back that bothered me for a couple years until I got a DVD called "Back in Shape" by Mimi Solaire (very gentle back care yoga) and put a memory-foam mattress pad on the bed. Don't know if either will help you, or if the DVD is still in print (I got from Amazon). I still turn to it for "aaaaaaah" after long days at the computer or sewing machine. Hope your back is better soon. Always enjoy seeing what you create.
ReplyDeleteTake very good care of yourself.

ReplyDeleteSounds bad. My neck as been terribly tight and painful for several days and I'm going to the chiropractor tomorrow. I really recommend chiropractic for immediate relief and Alexander Technique for long-term prevention. Hope you're feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand back pain, so I feel for you. Sitting at computers & sewing machines for long periods do not help back problems. Hope you recover very soon.

ReplyDeletePlease give Feldenkrais a try. You'll be glad you did. I had two herniated discs and the Dr said I need an op with 50% success rate! A friend recommended Feldenkrais and my pain was 50% reduced after the first consultation and gone in 6 weeks!
