Pincushions, Productivity and Bupkis

Made these pincushions several weeks ago, and have just finally gotten around to posting them in my Etsy shop, which has now, (finally) reopened!

You can see more pincushions here. (Update: Since posting this last night I have already sold 5 of the six pincushions listed. (Yeah!) But you can view them in the "sold" section of my shop. Hoping to post more soon.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This past week was going to be one of great creative productivity... that was the plan, Stan, but it didn't exactly pan out that way. I got bupkis done. I didn't even find time to visit everyone's blog, (hangs head in shame.) Don't ask me where all the time went, I've looked but I can't find it... life must have gobbled it up when I wasn't looking. Does that ever happen to you? Hoping next week proves more fruitful. Till then have a great weekend, Everyone!
  1. Hm. Gobbled up? Sounds like you were livin' life. Happens to the best of us... if we're lucky!
    These are fabulous of course. This last one has my heart especially.
  2. Looks like I hit your Etsy Store just in time. The last one pictured is going to be heading my way. I just love your designs.
    Life gobbles up time here as well. There are days when not a stitch has been made before nightfall. Enjoy your weekend!
  11. Apart from the crafty inspiration, I love to learn new words when reading blogs. Bupkis and gobble... love them both! And as for weeks passing by... that’s life! I could use some extra hours in a day.
    Your pincushions have the X factor! Love them!
  14. Nice pincushions! Better than the old strawberry I have hanging around in my drawer (can't leave it out as the cat pulls all the pins out of it and leaves them in the floor).
    I wonder where the time goes too. If I don't pay attention, the day is over before I know it, and I don't even know where it goes.
  16. Oh, my your pincushions are wonderful and the shot cotton makes them cooler. I am still looking at my stack of fabric trying to decide what to do. Now on the subject of time. Mine regularly gets gobbled up. :-) Hang in there I bet next week will go well.
  23. Bupkis happens. It's my eternal struggle: I spin and pivot until I'm dizzy, but I have nothing to show for it. *sigh* Oh well. Try try again.
    Your pincushions are beyond wonderful! Welcome back to your etsy shop. I can see that I'm gonna have to check it FIRST THING in the morning before everything gets snatched away!
  24. Your work is so lovely. The tiny stitches remind me of the work done by the Hmong people of Vietnam. Have you ever seen any examples of their work? It is so fascinating. I really love those pincushions. I think they are my favorites out of all the things you do. I don't know why...8-) Keep up the good work.
    I know what you mean about time slipping away. I was going to do some sewing this weekend, and POOF, the weekend was gone, with no quilt-making done at all. I swear, the older I get, the faster time goes! When I was 10, time just dragged. Now that I'm 63, it's time on steroids!!!!
