The Long And The Short Of It.

Long.

Short.

Liberating!

I woke up yesterday with a sudden urge to cut my hair, and so I did! (Well, I didn't actually take the scissors and do it myself... I went and had it cut!) It's just what I wanted, no muss, no fuss and a little bit boyish!

My long hair was 1 inch shy of being the required 10" length to donate to Locks of Love, but fortunately Patene now has its own program called Beautiful Lengths and will except hair donations 8" and longer, as long as the hair meets all of their other requirements, which mine does! So, as soon as my still wet ponytail, (which is lying on my work table) dries, I will be shipping her off to hopefully do some good. Mine is getting pretty long right now... I definitely see a chop-it-off impulse in my future...

  7. It looks great! So care free, and you look so cute!

I wanted to go a bit shorter than I did yesterday, but my cutter was sort of insistent at leaving it about jaw length. Maybe next time... I flip flop a lot between wanting long or short hair.

  8. A very brave move, but a very worthwhile one! The cut looks great & really suits you! So cute! I'd love to have short hair but it just so doesn't suit me. Even when I have a slight trim I feel the need to wear a hat for the first month or so after.

  14. totally cute - I think it does make you look younger!
Its liberating to chop your locks once in a while - I always give myself a haircut over the bathroom sink - maybe I should see a pro!
