...Thanks to each of you!<br /><br />Diane, you are so sweet!<br /><br />Nina and Jane, yes, I can see why it reminds you of those things, as Rosepath weaving, (the red woven bands in the hearts) has deep scandinavian roots. The variations are seemingly endless making it truly fun to work with!<br /><br />Kim, as long as you first stabilize where you want to cut with machine stitching, it's not much different then cutting into any other fabric. To make these, I made a heart template cut from cardstock and centered it on top of the woven fabric.
